Living with Black Bears: Peaceful Coexistence in Our Region

Thursday, January 22nd, 6-7:30PM, at Weil Preserve

Black bears are returning to landscapes they once shared with people—and many of us are unsure how to respond. Join wildlife biologist Budd Veverka, Director of Land Management at the Mianus River Gorge, for a thoughtful and practical exploration of black bear ecology and what their presence means for our communities.

This in person event is ideal for residents, nature lovers, and anyone interested in learning how informed choices can help people and bears thrive in the same landscape. For more information and registration, please click the link below. We hope to see you there!
