Presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension, this comprehensive workshop will review parts of chainsaw, required safety regulations, body posture, and cutting tips to enable you to address fallen trees, limbing, bucking and cutting in general.
The program fee is $140, non-refundable.

STORIES IN STONE: THE LEGACY OF OUR WALLS

Join us for a guided walk through North Salem’s historic stone walls—learning who built them, how to tell their age by lichen, and the stories they hold. Along the way, we’ll explore their role as wildlife habitat, from chipmunks and snakes to mosses and native plants—linking our past to today’s natural world.
