First Wednesday Volunteer Day

This month, volunteers will head to Gaymark Preserve to support seasonal stewardship projects focused on caring for this special landscape. Activities may include invasive species removal, trail maintenance, and other winter land care needs that help protect the preserve’s ecological health.

No prior experience is necessary. Projects are designed to be accessible and meaningful for all skill levels. Tools, guidance, and training will be provided, and all work is led by NSOLF staff.

Whether you are a longtime steward or new to volunteering, February’s First Wednesday Volunteer Day at Gaymark Preserve is a rewarding way to enjoy the winter landscape, connect with fellow community members, and help care for North Salem’s protected open land.
